Part of me is hoping this is my overactive imagination and sleep deprivation…I can’t tell which and that is why I’m scared.
I was dumb enough to watch parts of The Exorcist on Friday night. Stupid move, right? Yeah, I didn’t sleep well. All day ever since I’ve just felt not right. I am scared and I will definitely be singing at Mass on Sunday and hoping that cleans out whatever is shaking me up.
I keep having thoughts that are not like me. Not thoughts of harming others, just…they are not normal and I want them to stop. I was having these thoughts a lot in the shower and started to recite the Our Father and sing Ave Verum in my head just to drown it out. I slept with a Cross in my hand last night and plan to wear one to bed tonight.
Am I just too suggestible by that movie? (The part I watched was the actual exorcism with all the floating off the bed and stuff. If I see a movie that scares me, I have to find the part where the bad guy gets what’s coming just so I can tell myself “they can’t hurt me, it’s imaginary and the bad guy got his due” —-and THEN I remembered the Exorcist was based off a true story and something that CAN happen. AAAAAH!).
I’m really scared. Please pray this evil feeling will go away! Or at least pray that I won’t be stupid enough to watch parts of a movie that will screw up my head so much! I’ll let you know if anything weirder happens. I’m sure I just messed myself up and now my mind is playing tricks. Gah, I hope I don’t come off sounding crazy.
Thank you for any help you can offer. I hope a good night’s sleep will make this yuck get out of my head, and if not that, prayers and Communion will I’m sure!

Hello, I am a 29yr old female who resides in NY. My name is Lisa and I am in deep need of a genuine, powerfully strong, and extensive prayer! I am facing some health & financial issues. Although, the financial hardship I am presently enduring is caving in to close to a year, my health concerns have been plaguing for many years. In addition to that, some potential new health concerns may be on the rise. 1) Although it’s been close to 8 yrs of having this disease, I am feeling like the disorder is progressing. Since I am dealing with the disease on a daily and optimal basis, I am begging God to help alleviate some of the symptoms such as lightheadedness, phobias, panic attacks and excessive sweating which accompanies my anxiety/panic disorder.
2) Due to my recent visit to my doctors office, because of discomfort I was having, I am requesting that God does not allow the potential of having any internal bacteria/ infection/ cysts/ and or stones possibly forming in my body, to either become active or allow it to get aggravated.
3) While dealing with my health concerns, I been in the process of searching to find and land the right job that will fill my needs. Because I had been out of work close to a year, having the right door open for me, would be less burdening.
4) Lastly, while I am in the process of trying to take better care of my health along with my finances, I am hoping that God can strengthen me as a whole. If it is in God’s plan for me to be introduced with a sincere Christian partner/ soul mate, it would be wonderful. Therefore, the union would potentially make way for me to get married and gain a family of my own.
As I am going through my trials and tribulations, my faith is being deeply tested. I am literally taking it ALL to GOD in prayer. While I know God can make a way out of no way, and I am asking for his powerful deliverance & gracious blessed miracle, please persistently pray for me!!!

Hi. Please pray for my cousin who found out today that she has stage 3 lung cancer. She also has two blot clots in her lungs and two blood clots in her legs that are causing a lot of pain. Thanks so much.
Please Lord help my son Michael keep his job. Give him the knowledge and skill to open some new accounts, not loose any accounts he has and increase some accounts. Please pray for financial help for my family. I have been praying for a long time and it just seems our situation gets worse at times. Pray that Our Father grant me a sign that it will be coming to an end soon. This is really taking a toll on my family especially my husband. Pray that we are healed of stress and anxiety and that Our Father grant my Family peace.
Please Pray for my boyfriend’s grandmother, she is in the hospital with two tumors on her brain, please pray that she will have a successful recovery and be happy and let GOD be with her and protect her, and let her grow with christ as she experiences this.
