Hal Far Christmas Party 2004 for People with Special Needs Photo Gallery
Click on any small photo to see it enlargedAt Hal Far there is a home for people with special needs. After a Mass celebrated by Fr Richard, the Marana Tha' community prayed over those who were there. Then like he does every year, popular Maltese DJ John Muscat (I quote his famous phrase "li mdejjaq qalbek ma jkun qatt!!") practically encouraged those present to dance to popular songs including various Christmas songs and carols. Not one Father Christmas was present, but two were, and some gifts were given to the residents! Please remember to keep these people in your prayers. NB - I took these photos with a mobile camera.
Peace in Christmas (Paci fil-milied) was the theme of the party.
It looks like Father Christmas is trying to strangle the woman.. (he really isn't!)
John Muscat is a fantastic guy, he helps others by entertaining them...
Then the 'main' Father Christmas showed up..with gifts for the residents...
Collecting bread..

1/11/2005: Prayer requests are being circulated for a Pastor Ferdie Flores and it is claimed that he is a Maltese missionary about to be executed. This is NOT TRUE. Flores is not Maltese and his press release states "he has never been executed and was never scheduled for execution as was reported" (source).
30/10/2005: I'm at the National Catholic Charismatic Conference (today's the last day and we end with a charismatic Mass). CCR Malta has launched a new cd containing many theme songs from previous conferences - you should get this, it's a great cd. I'll be putting some tracks on the Internet radio too. I'll be uploading the photos I've taken this year. I did take some video too. Just a reminder of some upcoming events: A praise and worship concert at St Agatha's auditorium on the 12th November, and the Youth Mass in Ta' Xbiex on the 13th November (11.30am).
19/9/2005: A new website has been launched for the National Charismatic Renewal in Malta after the previous site's expired domain got hijacked by an unscrupulous foreign company.

7/9/2005: Updated Schedule page. I have added a Charismatic FAQ which you should find interesting.
