Pawlu Ta’ Tarsu

I was sent this movie trailer of Pawlu Ta’ Tarsu, the Maltese movie about St Paul playing in local cinemas. The title translates as Paul of Tarsus. It’s an entirely Maltese production which has made use of existing sets and local locations to stand for foreign countries such as Jerusalem.

It’s currently showing at Embassy Cinemas in Valletta.

Anthony Ellul, known for playing Luigi de Savoia-Dimech in the controversial teleserial Gizelle, plays St Paul who brought the faith to Malta and europe.
